I estimate the capacity is 1 1/2 gallon, + or -, but that is my estimate; I haven't measured with liquid. SIZE: Approx 9 3/4 high.
About 7 diameter across widest part. Measurements are to the best of my ability to measure. CONDITION: It is old, with NO body cracks. I count 4 small chips, along shoulder rim and bottom rim, but several manufacturing dimples, creases, bubbles, inclusions, etc TYPICAL productions imperfections & flaws, minor bottom edge roughness, as you would expect.
PLEASE NOTE: If you look carefully at the closeup images of the bail handle LOOPS, you can see lines. I was told these loops are closed off after firing, and after the handle has been placed.
You can see where the glaze has fired around the lines, so this is done during production. Nice and solid, great looking crock. This is an unusual beauty to add to your collection, so please look at all the pictures. These pictures are important and give you a better ability to judge condition.
