Rare Antique c 1870 L Lehman Co. NY, Three Gallon Salt Glazed And Cobalt Crock. Very nice, large 3 gallon salt glazed stoneware jar with cobalt floral decoration. Incised stamp L Lehman & CO. This is a circa 1860, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, thick, flared rim and applied lug handles. Decorated with a beautiful cobalt hand painted brushed design of flowers, and cobalt highlights to the maker's mark and capacity mark. Measures 14"H x 9.25" diameter bottom x 7.25 diameter rim. Very good condition for age with a chip on back top and back bottom rim (see last 2 pics). Also, one very small nick on back below right handle.
