RARE Antique Merchant Estabrook & Robinson Stoneware Preserve Jar Crock Boston
This is a fantastically RARE antique Estabrook & Robinson salt glaze stoneware preserve/pantry jar crock. The two merchants were George Estabrook & Richard Robinson. It is stamped in a cobalt blue ESTABROOK & ROBINSON 69 BROAD STREET BOSTON, MASS. It is uniquely stamped on bottom side wall instead of the traditional top shoulder placement. It measures approximately 6 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches across bottom base by 4 1/4 inches diameter top outside outer edge rim by inside lower ledge opening of 3 inches diameter. In fantastic antique as made condition!!!! Hard to find merchant names in exceptional condition for its age!! A beautiful primitive look & an excellent piece to add to your collection.
