RARE Antique Stoneware 2 Gal Norton & Fenton East Bennington VT Crock Cobalt Dec
This is a wonderful rare antique semi-ovoid stoneware 2 gallon Norton & Fenton East Bennington, VT crock. It has a cobalt washed maker's stamp Norton & Fenton East Bennington, VT. A beautiful stylized double tulip decoration in a nice shiny cobalt blue. It measures approximately 10 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches base diameter. Top rim is slightly out of round & measures approximately 8 1/2 inches one way & 9 inches the other way.
In very good antique condition. Has one shallow outer rim chip that measures approximately 1 inch height by 3/4 inch width, slight outer base wear & one outer glaze line crow's foot on front bottom side wall.
