RARE Antique Stoneware Spittoon E. W. Farrington Elmira NY Albany Slip Crock

  
Farrington Albany slip glaze stoneware spittoon out of Elmira, New York Chemung County. These spittoons don't pop up nearly as often as the crocks/jugs/batter jugs. Approximately 4.75" tall with a base diameter just over 8". Overall good condition for its age.

There is a base chip under the N. Top of the spittoon has a hairline extending a few inches from the rim of the hole (see last photo).

There are scratches (mainly on top) from long-term use. Photo 9 shows some small fleabites along the top rim. Displays well and is guaranteed old/original. I do my best to write accurate descriptions and mention any damage or other issues, but please use the photos to judge the overall condition for yourself.
