Salt Glazed Stoneware Giant Stein Pitcher Pewter Lid and also has a Wooden Bail. There are raised figures around the body, a cuddling old couple and a man holding a stick. There are dog heads on each side, and the metal handle fits right in the middle of their forehead. The spout is the face of a bulldog. This measures 13 1/2 inches, top of metal hinge of lid. It holds over a gallon and weighs over 5 pounds, before packing.

The base has a diameter of 5 inches. Please see pictures, this is totally awesome item and they show it better than I can say it.
