One gallon decorated stoneware pitcher. Rare mark, Harrington & Burger Rochester (NY), only used from 1851 to 1854.
The flower has no fry and deep blue. A flat chip on the top of the spout; a kiln chip on the bottom.
Glazed up to the edge, no ragged or flaked edge. See photo 4 for what it looks like from the outside. I've had a few questions about stoneware pitchers. 99% of stoneware pitchers are decorated with flips and scrolls of cobalt, not anything representative.
Also 99% are not marked. This is a rare pitcher. The item "STONEWARE PITCHER RARE MARK HARRINGTON & BURGER GREAT FLOWER" is in sale since Sunday, November 26, 2017.
