THIS IS AN EARLY WHITES OF UTICA STONEWARE LIDDED CROCK WITH HANDLE DECORATED WITH FOUR BLUE LEAVES HANGING ON A STEM AND IMPRESSED IN BLUE IS THE NUMBER 4. FROM HANDLE TO BOTTOM IT IS 11" TALL BY 8" WIDE AND EXCLUDING THE HANDLE IT MEASURES 7 1/4 TALL. THERE ARE A FEW CHIPS INSIDE THE RIM AND A ONE INCH FACTORY SEPARATION (CLOSE TO THE KNOB ON THE LID) WHERE YOU CAN SEE THE CLAY FELL INTO IT DURING THE FIRING PROCESS, BUT WE JUST WANTED TO MENTION IT FOR ACCURACY. THE BOTTOM IS PERFECT WITH A PEBBLE BODY AND IT IS IN AMAZING CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS OR WEAR. PLEASE DISREGARD THE WHITE SPOTS FROM OUR OVERHEAD LIGHTING.
